How to Confront Imposterism as Black Students
Are you a Black student who ever feels/thinks that: “I don’t belong and don’t fit in at my lectures” “I am not good enough.” “I am an imposter at my school” “Does my racial identity affect my self-worth?” “I need to work extra hard as a black student to prove myself.”
In this workshop we will unpack how racism and microaggressions in school, work spaces and personal life perpetuate imposter syndrome among Black students. Through insightful discussion and interactive activities, you will learn practical strategies to confront and challenge the symptoms of Imposterism.
