Enhancing Well-Being: Black Mental Health Supports in the University Environment

Join ARCDO for a panel discussion exploring the unique mental health challenges and the well-being of Black faculty, librarians, staff, and students. Let us come together to engage this important dialogue as we work towards strengthening a more inclusive and supportive University environment.

Event objectives:

  • Explore and discuss the unique mental health challenges faced by Black faculty, librarians, staff and students within the University environment.
  • Share practical tips for leaders on how to cultivate inclusive and supportive work and learning environments that addresses the mental health needs of Black community.
  • Share best practices, challenges, and innovative approaches to enhancing mental health support for Black community across the tri-campus.

Format: Hybrid – This event will be hosted in person and livestreamed.
Location: Vivian and David Campbell Conference Facility, Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, 1 Devonshire Place
Audience: Faculty, librarians, staff, students, and external community.
Cost: Free
